Pachamama is Mother Earth, the giver of life, for the Andean peoples.

Pachamama is the great Mother of Andean peoples. She gives food, water, and life. We thank Pachamama, sing to her, and dance for her. At festivals we make offerings (pagu): seeds, honey, water. When Pachamama is happy, she gives good seeds in the fields.
